I just learned of a conference held in June in Alexandria, Egypt called Einstein Symposium 2005. Many prominent physicists spoke at this event, with some of the talks geared toward the general public. The symposium put together a nice website that includes PowerPoint presentations of many of the talks. For each presentation, the viewer can click along at his or her own pace to bring up each new slide.
Many of the concepts discussed in the talks -- particularly those related to the forces of nature -- mesh well with topics I've covered in my previous writings on this blog. Among the symposium presentations, I would most highly recommend Edward Witten's. His slides contain extensive text, making it very easy to follow (also, because Witten's talk doesn't include as many pictures and diagrams as some of the others, the slides come up faster).
(I want to acknowledge Peter Woit's blog as the source where I learned of the Einstein Symposium 2005 link.)
